• Newsletter: sending new posts and product news (promotional emails are marked "(Ad)" in the subject), confirming subscriptions, and handling unsubscribes
• AI assistant (chatbot): answering your questions, keeping the context of a conversation, and improving answers

AI assistant (chatbot)

(Automatic) what you type and the replies, a conversation summary, answer ratings (thumbs up/down), a randomly generated conversation ID, and your language — created when you use the chatbot

The chatbot never asks for your name, email, or phone number. Please do not type personal details into it. The website does not store IP addresses or other connection data, but our server and CDN (AWS) may record access logs automatically for security and troubleshooting.

• Chatbot records (messages, summary, ratings): deleted automatically 30 days after the last message in the conversation.
• Newsletter email: kept while you are subscribed and deleted 30 days after you unsubscribe. Signups that are never confirmed are deleted 30 days after signing up.
• Database backups are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically, so deleted data may remain in backups for up to that long.

Every day we automatically delete data whose retention period has ended, in a way that cannot be restored. When you ask us to delete your data, we do so without delay.

We do not share personal data with third parties, except where the law requires it.

We use the following processors to run the service.

Servers, database, email delivery (Amazon SES), and backups — stored in Korea (Seoul region)

Transfers abroad happen only when you use the chatbot. If you do not want them, simply do not use the chatbot; the rest of the website works as usual.

• You can ask to access, correct, delete, or stop the processing of your personal data at any time. We respond within 10 days.
• Send requests to contact@intentcode.co.kr. You can leave the newsletter at any time with the "Unsubscribe" link in every email.
• Chat records are not tied to a name, so to delete them, include the conversation ID stored in your browser (intentcode_session_id). Clearing your browser storage also disconnects future chats from past ones.

• Encryption in transit (HTTPS) everywhere
• Access control for the admin area (password authentication, least privilege)
• Secrets such as keys and passwords stored encrypted (AWS Systems Manager Parameter Store)
• No chat text or email addresses in server logs
• Automatic deletion when retention periods end

Remembers your language (Korean or English) — removed when you close the browser

intentcode_session_id (browser storage)

Continues your chatbot conversation — removed when you clear browser storage

We do not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking. You can block or clear cookies and site data in your browser settings; language memory and chat continuity may then stop working.
